Cable identification picks out the right circuit among others before a joint, a cut or a further test. It supports the work. It does not replace the network owner’s safety rules, isolation, proving dead or spiking.
Safety boundary. An electronic identification is one piece of evidence. Isolation, proving dead, earthing and any spiking requirement stay with the rules that apply to that network or site.

What we need from you
Postcode, voltage, what you need identified, and access to a point where a signal can be applied and to the point where the cable must be picked out. Drawings and switchgear labels help.
After the cable is identified
Further testing or a repair can then go ahead under the site safety rules, with the joint carried out by R&D Cable Jointing’s own team where that is what you want.
