The repair does not have to be handed to another contractor. R&D Cable Jointing Ltd’s own jointers carry out suitable LV, 11kV and 33kV repairs once the cable is isolated and the joint position is accessible.

What we need from you
Voltage, cable type and size if known, the postcode, whether the fault position is already confirmed, and who is isolating the cable. Photos of the existing joint or the termination help us bring the right kit.
On site
With the cable confirmed isolated and a safe working position, a jointer makes the repair. The joint and the cable are tested before the excavation is handed back for reinstatement.
