Hertfordshire is north of London from our Kent base. We take LV and 11kV fault-location jobs there when the fault and the journey make sense.
Phones answered Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm. Out-of-hours by arrangement.
UK Power Networks (Eastern Power Networks) covers Hertfordshire. The county mixes postwar new towns with older market towns on that same distribution network. Private cables, commercial supplies and street lighting are the enquiries we can actually test; a public-network emergency belongs with the operator.
The drive from Kent is across or around London, so it is a longer South East trip than Medway or East Sussex. We agree it before travelling. Phones answered Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm. Out-of-hours by arrangement.
Send whatever test results you already have. An insulation resistance or continuity reading often tells us whether the Lexxi TDR is enough, or whether the fault is high resistance and will need hired surge equipment.
Hertfordshire is covered by arrangement from Kent, not as a local depot. The postcode decides whether the trip is a sensible one for the fault in front of you.
The scope is the same as closer to home: locate the fault, trace the route, and repair with R&D’s own jointing team when the cable is safe to joint.
Send the voltage, the postcode and what you know so far. We’ll call you back during phone hours.
